Fort Mill, SC — The call for corporations to reduce their environmental impact has been heard around the world. Today, that call will sound a lot like alternative rock, rap, country and more — as Muzak hosts its Earth Day 2008 celebration featuring live music from seven musical acts, ranging from performances by Muzak employees to nationally acclaimed group Five Star Iris.

“Anyone who has ever visited Muzak’s home office knows that our corporate culture is pretty unique — and that our Earth Day celebration was bound to transcend guest speakers and handouts,” said Bruce McKagan, vice president of content services for Muzak and the company’s Green Team executive sponsor. “We’re very passionate about music, and we’re also passionate about preserving our environment. So it’s natural for us to celebrate both at the same time — with a lineup of amazing musicians,” said McKagan.
